Jr Patroits (Atom A) are one and one in the pre-season…

2013-10-16

Good start...

First up… The Kent-Sud Flames. They may have been playing the Flames, but the Jr Patriots were the ones on fire! From start to finish, the Shediac/Cap-Pele players showed their determination and did not let up until the final whistle. The Pats came out on top with a 2-1 victory.

The next game was against last year’s rival the Lewisville Lightning.  The scouting report had showed this team as being stronger than last year. Coming off a strong performance, the Jr Patriots would not be intimidated by the competition. Both teams fought a good battle, but the Lightning had the last word with a 2-1 victory.

Head coach Philippe LeBlanc had this to say in the post game interview: “We had a good weekend. Every player played at his or her full potential. Not much more we can ask of them…”

For the next pre-season game, the Jr Patriots will be heading out of province for a game against the Amherst Ramblers on Saturday, October 19.
